Job Description

Narcoossee Oaks Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are an AAHA-accredited, four-doctor general practice with more than 30 dedicated team members who share a passion for providing exceptional veterinary care. As a busy, fast-paced hospital, we rely on teamwork, communication, and a willingness to support one another to provide the highest level of care for our patients and clients. Schedule & Benefits Full-time position Four-day work week Alternating Saturdays from 8:00 AM

Our Hospital Our team utilizes modern equipment and technology, including: Digital Radiography Fast Scan Ultrasound Surgical Laser K-Laser Therapy In-house Diagnostics EzyVet Practice Management Software Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during appointments, treatments, and surgical procedures Educate clients on medications, preventive care, diagnostics, and treatment recommendations Collect laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and fecal specimens Administer medications and vaccines as directed Obtain high-quality radiographs and monitor patient vital signs Place IV catheters and assist with anesthesia and surgical procedures Safely restrain patients using low-stress handling techniques whenever possible Maintain accurate medical records within EzyVet Keep treatment and exam areas clean, organized, and prepared for patient care Qualifications Minimum of two years of veterinary experience preferred Credentialed Veterinary Technicians are encouraged to apply Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain active throughout the workday We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to a positive workplace, build lasting relationships with clients, and provide exceptional care to every patient.
