Veterinary TechnicianPlummer Pet Hospital | St.
Petersburg, FLPay:
$17.00$23.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule:
Full-Time | Fixed 4-day schedule with every other Saturday and scheduled lunch breaks.

Our modern, state-of-the-art hospital is equipped to provide comprehensive veterinary services, including in-house diagnostics, digital X-ray, ultrasound, surgery, dentistry, and more. Were looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician who wants to utilize their skills, continue learning, and be part of a collaborative team committed to excellent patient care.

What Youll DoAs a Veterinary Technician, youll play an important role in supporting our doctors and patients.
Responsibilities include:
Running exam rooms and assisting doctors with appointmentsObtaining patient histories and communicating with clientsPlacing IV catheters and drawing bloodCollecting and running laboratory samplesAdministering medications, vaccines, and treatmentsSafely restraining and handling patientsTaking radiographs and assisting with diagnostic proceduresPreparing patients for procedures and monitoring recoveryMaintaining accurate medical records and keeping treatment areas organizedSurgical and dental experience is a plus, including surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, COHATs and dental radiographs.
