What You'll Do As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play an important role in supporting our doctors and patients.
Responsibilities include:
Running exam rooms and assisting doctors with appointments Obtaining patient histories and communicating with clients Placing IV catheters and drawing blood Collecting and running laboratory samples Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments Safely restraining and handling patients Taking radiographs and assisting with diagnostic procedures Preparing patients for procedures and monitoring recovery Maintaining accurate medical records and keeping treatment areas organized Surgical and dental experience is a plus , including surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, COHATs and dental radiographs.
