Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care and handling, with the ability to assist veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to our patients. This role requires a blend of technical skills, knowledge of veterinary practices, and a passion for animal welfare. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures Perform laboratory tests and analyze results Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Provide support in dental procedures using veterinary terminology Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments Monitor animal vital signs and report any changes to the veterinarian Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and health maintenance Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including adherence to aseptic techniques Participate in kennel duties, including feeding, grooming, and exercising animals Qualifications Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role within the veterinary field Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and husbandry practices Familiarity with veterinary critical care procedures and laboratory techniques Experience with dog handling, training, grooming, and catheterization is highly desirable Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively A commitment to providing compassionate care for all animals under your supervision Join our team where your skills will contribute to the health and well-being of our furry patients while working alongside passionate professionals in the veterinary field.
