Russell Ridge Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who wants to bring their skills, compassion, and love for this profession to a team that genuinely enjoys working together. What We're Looking For We need an LVT who is comfortable functioning as a skilled veterinary professional...not simply an extra set of hands.
You should be comfortable with:
Surgical preparation and assisting Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Calculating drug dosages and CRIs Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Hospitalized patient care and monitoring Recognizing changes in a patient's condition and communicating concerns Digital radiography Laboratory procedures and sample collection Dental procedures and dental radiography Medication administration Accurate medical documentation Client education and communication Working efficiently in a busy, multi-doctor hospital Just as importantly, we're looking for someone who thinks . Someone who notices when a patient isn't quite right. Someone who double-checks a calculation because it matters. Someone who doesn't walk past a problem assuming somebody else will handle it. Schedule & Benefits This is a full-time position , and weekend availability is required as part of our hospital schedule.
