Office of the Vice President for Research Office of Animal Resources Veterinary Technician The Office of Animal Resources at the University of Iowa is seeking a Veterinary Technician. Under general supervision, provides veterinary care for animals used in a research setting. May perform veterinary care, animal husbandry, and basic technical skills. Provides assistance to Veterinarians and investigative staff in their treatment of animals used in teaching, training, or research functions. Position operates within standard guidelines and alternatives that are known, and any deviation from such requires prior approval. Staff will work a rotating on-call schedule and holidays.

Work Schedule:

Sunday-Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Some overtime required and will work a rotating on-call schedule.
