Job Description:
As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play an essential role in supporting our veterinarians and providing excellent care for our client's pets during exams, surgeries and dentals. We're looking for someone who is not only skilled but also values collaboration and communication in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with physical exams, take patient histories, and perform routine diagnostic tests Administer treatments, vaccines, and medications under the direction of the veterinarians Monitor anesthesia and provide care before, during, and after surgeries and dental procedures Provide client education and support regarding pet care Keep patient records up to date and maintain a clean, organized work environment Ensure our clinic is a fun and welcoming space for both pets and people Schedule appointments and answer phone calls when needed
Qualifications:
Experience:
Experience in a clinical veterinary setting
Skills:
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and computer skills
Personality:
Compassionate, positive, team-oriented person who enjoys working in a fun, professional environment.
Physical Requirement:
Ability to lift, move, and restrain animals and stand for long periods
Technician Position:
