Veterinary Technician Team Lead / ManagerSnake River Veterinary Center - Where Compassion Meets Excellence! Are you an experienced veterinary technician who is ready to take the lead and make a lasting impact? Snake River Veterinary Center is looking for a passionate, experienced Veterinary Technician Team Lead / Manager to join our team in beautiful Fruitland, Idaho! This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll continue doing what you love—providing excellent patient care and working alongside your technician team—while also helping lead, mentor, and support the team and improve the way our treatment area operates. About the Role As our Team Lead, you'll be a resource for our technicians, a mentor to our team, a partner to our DVMs, and an advocate for our patients. You'll help keep the day moving, ensure protocols and standards are being followed, support team members through challenges, and serve as an important communication bridge between the technician team and hospital management. We're looking for someone who doesn't just identify problems, but takes accountability and becomes part of the solution. What You'll Do Lead, support, and mentor our veterinary technician and assistant team. Help ensure hospital policies, protocols, and standards are consistently followed. Help coordinate treatment-area workflow and keep appointments and patient care moving efficiently. Assist with training, scheduling, team development, and implementation of new protocols and procedures. Be a voice for the technician team by bringing concerns, ideas, and solutions to management. Help address day-to-day team concerns and interpersonal issues in a fair and respectful manner. Work with management regarding employee performance, evaluations, and HR-related concerns. Assist with chart audits, medical record accuracy, checklists, inventory, and hospital compliance. Assist DVMs with surgeries, dental procedures, anesthesia, diagnostics, treatments, and client education. Continue working hands-on as a veterinary technician and lead by example. Help cultivate a culture of kindness, accountability, growth, and clinical excellence. What You Bring 3+ years of veterinary technician experience ; CVT preferred but not required. Strong clinical skills and a commitment to excellent patient care. Leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. A calm, confident presence in high-energy situations. Someone who is organized, dependable, and able to prioritize. A willingness to learn and an ability to teach. The confidence to have direct conversations while remaining respectful and compassionate.
