Full Job Description Certified Veterinary Technician:
We are experiencing growth at Indian Prairie Animal Hospital! We are looking to add a full time CVT to our multi doctor practice in the Aurora-Naperville area. We are a well-established, progressive medical and boarding AAHA accredited practice. We are dedicated to patient care and client communication. Our ideal candidate is a reliable, punctual, self-starter who works well with others and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care and client communication.The candidate is expected to:
- Hold current Illinois CVT certification (required)
- Have strong hands-on technical experience in a veterinary setting
- Possess working knowledge of canine and feline veterinary medicine
- Willing to work with exotic pets (hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, birds, reptiles)
- Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, dental procedures, laboratory diagnostics
- Deliver excellent client education and communication
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Support a positive, team-oriented culture
- Work evenings and one Saturday a month Benefits include:
