We are a progressive, community-minded veterinary clinic offering gold standard medicine to patients in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. Your day-to-day:
Patient care: Practice fear free handling techniques.Outpatient care:
history, performing diagnostics, client education and communication Technician appointments for vaccine boosters, diagnostic, aftercare and follow ups Perform technical skills, including diagnostic sample collection, cytology radiography, blood pressure measurement, anesthetic induction, monitoring & recovery, soft tissue surgery preparation, dentistry (radiography, scaling/polishing, charting, blocks). Engender trust and provide excellent service to our clients and patients.What we need from you:
Current CVT licensure in Illinois Upbeat, team-oriented demeanor, including the client as part of the patient's wellbeing team Strong interpersonal and client communication skills Ability to deliver exceptional medicine and patient care in a fear free environment Critical thinking and problem solving Ability to lift, carry and restrain up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, bend, squat and lift arms overhead, sometimes for an extended period of time Must pass background check and drug test What's in it for you: Pet Care Benefits CE Opportunities and a team commitment to learning and teaching Paid leave Paid holidays Paid CE/License reimbursement, Health Insurance 401K w/ match We are close to to public transportation (Wilson red line stop, buses).
