Join a Team Where Growth Meets Passion! Old Town Animal Care Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, team-oriented medical staff. Our practice provides comprehensive veterinary care, including general medicine, surgical services, dentistry, wellness and urgent care. Veterinary Technicians play an essential role in patient care. You'll work closely with veterinarians and the medical team to provide high-quality support while ensuring every patient receives attentive, compassionate care from intake through recovery. What You'll Do Provide skilled nursing care and support for patients Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical and dental procedures Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography Collect diagnostic samples, including bloodwork and laboratory testing Obtain high-quality digital radiographs Maintain accurate and thorough medical records Assist veterinarians with treatment planning and patient care Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding procedures, aftercare, and patient updates Respond quickly and confidently to medical situations Work collaboratively with veterinarians and the entire team to provide excellent patient care What We're Looking For Previous veterinary technician experience required Veterinary Technician certification/licensure preferred, but not required for highly qualified candidates Strong technical skills, including: Venipuncture Anesthesia monitoring Laboratory procedures Radiography Dental procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy clinical environment Proactive, adaptable, and dependable work style Positive attitude and genuine passion for veterinary medicine Commitment to providing exceptional patient care Why Join Old Town Animal Care Center?
