Job Description
Family owned Christian veterinary clinic is seeking a Certified Vet Technician to add to our staff. We currently are an established and growing practice. We have a very good relationship with our clients and are committed to educating them on the best care for their pets. Because of this, we are fortunate to be able to run a lot of diagnostics and provide gold standard care to our patients. We do a lot of surgeries and dental work and are committed to careful monitoring and aftercare of our patients. We feel strongly that a technician is the best person to fill this role. We currently have a Penn Foster Veterinary Technician student and are very committed to continuing education and mentoring new employees. The rest of our staff consists of very capable employees that have been with the practice for several years. We have a good team atmosphere and would really welcome the addition of an educated technician to help our current technical student in leading the rest of the team. The pay range for this position is $16-$25 per hour depending on education and experience. Benefits to this full-time position include health insurance, paid professional dues, paid CE and paid time off (vacation, holidays and personal days). The position we are looking to fill will need to be available primarily on the weekdays with some rare weekend work . No emergency work or on call status is required.
