Job Description

Job Summary Animal Care Clinic of Bedford is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic veterinary team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care, assist with medical procedures, and support veterinarians in delivering top-quality veterinary services. Your expertise will ensure our patients receive compassionate, efficient, and comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment. We believe in having a good work-life balance so you will not have to work weekends or holidays. Duties Assist veterinarians with exams and surgical procedures, Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by a veterinarian Monitor patients during surgeries while reporting changes to veterinarians Prepare animals for surgeries including catheter placements Operate medical equipment including X-ray machines and other diagnostic tools Maintain accurate documentation for surgical procedures and accurate medical records in computer system Support client communication by explaining procedures clearly and providing pet care advice to pet owners.
RVT Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from an AVMA accredited program Licensure (or eligible for licensure) in good standing to practice in Indiana Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to advancing animal health through compassionate care, technical expertise, and continuous learning!
