Job Description
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team, has a positive attitude, is self-motivated, and always striving to learn new things. ```Duties```
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform animal catheterization and administer medications as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and treatments
- Prepare animals for surgery, including pre-operative preparation and post-operative care
- Conduct laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis, and analyze results
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of veterinary equipment and supplies
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration ```Qualifications```
- Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary medicine, animal physiology, and aseptic techniques
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques for safe handling during procedures
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
