  • Full-time Job Summary Immediate opening for self-motivated full-time Registered Veterinary Technician/Nurse focusing on client education, client service and patient care.
We handle a variety of canine and feline cases including wellness exams, disease management, dermatology, dental care, surgeries and more. Our facility includes digital radiology, digital dental radiology, tonometry and an IDEXX in-house lab, including Sedivue urinalysis. Benefits include annual clothing allowance, annual CE stipend, IRA eligibility and monthly health insurance stipend. Four (4) day work week plus one Saturday per month (8am-12pm), and no after-hours emergency duties. To apply email your resume or call us at 765 564-3400 Monday through Friday 8pm to 5pm. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments. Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Monitor and record animal vital signs and behavior. Provide proper animal restraint during examinations and procedures. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and grooming techniques. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Prepare animals for surgery, including catheterization and anesthesia monitoring. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment. Qualifications Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology/Nursing from an accredited institution is preferred. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and dental terminology. Experience with animal husbandry practices and pet grooming is a plus. Proficient in animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both the animals and staff. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
