Job Description

Kendallville Animal Clinic is looking for a full time Registered Veterinary Technician. Applicants must have a degree in Veterinary Technology or Veterinary Nursing. Indiana Licensing is required or ability to obtain. Kendallville Animal Clinic is a multi-doctor clinic specializing in small animal and exotic veterinary medicine. Our technicians are encouraged to use all their skills, with our full in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, laser surgery and laser therapy in teamwork with our veterinarians and assistants, to provide the best veterinary care possible. We are a fully paperless facility using traditional and holistic medicine in our commitment to the lifelong care of companion animals.
Technical Skills:
Blood draws IV Catheters X-rays Surgical Assistance Anesthetic Monitoring In-house hospitalization patient monitoring Filling prescriptions Preparing patients for examination and assisting the doctor during exams and procedures. Client Communication and Education Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
