We're looking for a Technician II who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a team environment, and is passionate about animal care and research support.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do Provide high-quality care and humane treatment for research animals Handle and restrain animals safely and responsibly Perform animal husbandry activities, including feeding and housing maintenance Observe animal health and document findings Collect biological samples and study data Administer doses using established procedures Record and review information in electronic systems and study documentation Operate and maintain laboratory equipment Assist with Clinical Pathology and Necropsy procedures Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), SOPs, and safety guidelines What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED preferred At least 6 months of laboratory animal care, animal handling, veterinary, agricultural, or related experience Experience with injections, dosing, or needle handling is a plus ALAT certification preferred Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Comfortable learning new systems and technology Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Must be able to work occasional overtime, weekends, or additional shifts as business needs require Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship Why Join Charles River?
