We focus on providing top quality care for our patients, with a Fear Free approach. Our services include preventative care, surgery, and dental care. We are looking for a skilled veterinary technician with at least one year experience working in a small animal practice. This role offers potential for future growth and leadership opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Get a history from the client and start chart notes
- Restrain animals during exams and procedures
- Set up and assist with radiographic procedures
- Set up for surgeries
- Clean surgical instruments and sterilize surgical packs
- Clean the hospital and kennels
- Fill prescription requests
- Collect and submit lab samples
- Place IV catheters and venipuncture
- Assist with and monitor anesthesia
- Going over discharge information with clients
- Promote hospital and build relationships with fellow staff members and clients Interpersonal Skills
- Hard working positive attitude, friendly and welcoming to clients
- Strong communication and leadership skills
