Job Description
Bradford Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled, energetic, and reliable Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. As we continue to grow and get busy, we are looking for another highly-skilled technician to help expand our support staff. We are looking for someone to specifically be able to help with anesthesia monitoring , in addition to other technical abilities. We are one of the few remaining privately-owned, non-corporate small animal practices in the region , and we pride ourselves on maintaining an enjoyable workplace and an excellent work-life balance. Why our team loves working here Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (or 7pm) schedule Rotating Saturdays 9am-1pm No late evenings No overnights Closed Sundays We do not do late squeeze-ins! Our hospital is a busy, high-quality, affordable 3-doctor clinic . We also host multiple specialists weekly, including cardiology, surgery, and internal medicine ultrasound , so there are always interesting and challenging cases. Nothing stays overnight, so there are no late-night or early-morning responsibilities . We are consistently rated Best Veterinary Hospital in Haverhill and pride ourselves on providing high-quality care at an affordable price . Responsibilities include Assisting with surgery and anesthesia Performing blood draws Placing intravenous catheters Patient restraint (dogs and cats) Client communication and education Answering phones and general hospital duties Helping maintain a clean and organized hospital Our team works closely together, and we value collaboration, reliability, and a positive attitude . Requirements Prior experience working as a Veterinary Technician in a veterinary hospital, and already being trained in performing anesthesia monitoring. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Veterinary Technician certification is respected, but not required.
