We are seeking a s killed, compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented veterinary technician who has hands-on experience in a busy veterinary hospital. CVT certification is preferred but not required for the right candidate. If you have strong technical skills, a passion for patient care, and the confidence to jump in and help wherever needed, we would love to meet you! What You'll Do Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patients Assist veterinarians with appointments, procedures, surgery, and dentistry Obtain and monitor patient vital signs Place and monitor IV catheters Draw blood and perform laboratory testing Take and develop diagnostic radiographs Calculate and administer medications accurately Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures Provide patient monitoring and post-operative care Assist with patient triage and urgent care Educate clients regarding medications, treatments, nutrition, and home care Maintain accurate and thorough medical records Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and client service team members What We're Looking For Previous veterinary technician experience required CVT certification preferred but not required Strong knowledge of veterinary nursing and patient care Comfortable handling dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments Strong technical and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a busy hospital environment Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and client service skills Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player Dependable, professional, and willing to learn Compassionate approach to patients, clients, and coworkers Availability for evening and weekend shifts required Schedule This position will include a combination of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
