We are a state of the art, general practice facility within the oldest private family-owned veterinary hospital group in America. Veterinary Technicians should be comfortable in all aspects of veterinary patient care, from basic patient restraint to advanced anesthesia cases. Some of the key skills we are looking for include; obtaining a complete patient history and maintaining records, vaccine and preventative care knowledge, medication dispensing and administering, venipuncture and IV catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring. Veterinary Assistants should be familiar in veterinary patient care including patient restraint, administering medications, and assisting veterinarians in daily tasks. The ideal candidate would have experience in this role, but we are willing to develop the right candidate's skill sets! •Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician or assistant experience required for the role• Compensation ranges based upon experience
