Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM-12:00

Onsite Job Summary We are seeking an Animal Lab Technician to support nonclinical research studies in a laboratory environment. The successful candidate will perform laboratory and animal-related procedures while following study protocols, SOPs, and CGMP requirements. Key Responsibilities Handle and work with laboratory animals, including mice, guinea pigs, and similar species . Perform daily test article/substance administration and observe/record animal physical signs. Prepare cage tags, animal identification tags, cages, and study-related materials. Record study parameters accurately according to protocols. Assist with preparation of test agents and dosage equipment. Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant raw data records. Assist with blood collection supplies and other study-specific materials. Support study planning and coordination with project managers and technical staff. Maintain departmental supplies and follow laboratory SOPs. Perform other related laboratory duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree in Biological Sciences or a related discipline preferred; equivalent education/experience may be considered. 1-2 years of related laboratory/technical experience preferred. Hands-on laboratory animal handling experience is strongly preferred. Comfortable working with animals such as mice and guinea pigs. Ability to follow detailed protocols, SOPs, and documentation requirements. ALAT certification is preferred but not required. Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus. Additional Requirements Comfortable working in a laboratory environment involving PPE, biological samples, chemicals, and potential biohazards. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Respirator fit testing may be required , depending on management assessment. Must be comfortable working fully onsite in Wilmington, MA.
Pay:
