Job Description

Join our team as a Part-Time Animal Care Technician for the Kent County Animal Shelter. This role utilizes your passion and animal care skills to provide excellent care and support to our furry friends and their future families. What you'll do: Perform a variety of animal care tasks, including feeding, enrichment, and limited physical examinations of animals to monitor animal health. Assist clients with inquiries and handle various administrative tasks, including adoptions. Monitor animals for any signs of illness or injury, ensuring prompt attention and care. Maintain kennels, cages, and surrounding areas in a clean and sanitary condition to ensure a healthy environment.
Required Schedule:
Two Week Rotation Week 1 - Monday 7:00AM-6:00PM, Friday 7:00AM-6:00PM Week 2 - Monday 7:00AM-6:00PM, Saturday 7:30AM-1:30PM, Sunday 7:00AM-12:00PM Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, along with One year of experience in the care and feeding of animals and one year of successful clerical experience.

Pay:
From $19.77 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
