POSITION SUMMARY
The veterinary technician holds a position that includes, but is not limited to, greeting clients, checking in patients, assisting the doctor in the exam room and laser surgery, processing laboratory samples, performing patient procedures, filling prescriptions, record keeping, checking clients out, answering the phones and general cleaning. Additionally, the technician needs to be extremely familiar with the clinic practices and procedures in relation to scheduling patients and filling prescriptions. These jobs should be carried out with an energetic manner, efficiency and a positive demeanor.
