Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care Perform animal restraint and handling to ensure safety for both animals and staff Conduct laboratory work including blood draws (phlebotomy), sample processing, and diagnostic testing Operate medical equipment such as X-ray machines, radiology diagnostics tools, and anesthesia monitors Administer medications, vaccines, and fluids via IV insertion or other routes with strict aseptic technique Monitor animals under anesthesia during surgical procedures, ensuring proper anesthesia levels and vital signs Support emergency medicine efforts by providing critical care, vascular access, and animal stabilization when needed Experience Proven kennel experience and animal husbandry skills to manage daily pet care routines Veterinary technician experience with familiarity in veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and surgical assistance Hands-on experience with dental terminology, pet grooming, dog training, and animal restraint techniques Laboratory experience including phlebotomy, diagnostic radiology, and veterinary laboratory work Knowledge of veterinary software systems for record keeping and appointment management Experience in veterinary critical care or emergency medicine to handle urgent cases effectively Equine experience is a plus but not required; strong animal handling skills across species are essential Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to advancing veterinary medicine through compassionate care and technical expertise.
