Job Description

Sick of corporate life? Privately owned and managed and planning to stay that way! Fast paced emergency veterinary hospital is looking for a enthusiastic team player to add to our staff. Duties include various veterinary technician duties such as handling dogs and cats that may be under duress, nursing duties, anesthetic monitoring and surgical assistant.
Requirements:
top notch people and customer service skills, respect but not fear of potentially fractious animals, attention to detail and cleanliness, ability to learn and master veterinary software programs. Hours for this position can be discussed during interview but will include Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 10pm at the minimum and two weeknights from 5pm to midnight. The clinic is open 365 days a year. All personnel are required to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Holidays are paid at 1 1/2 times regular hourly wage. Pay for this position starts at $25/hr and may be negotiable based on experience. Overnight shifts pay $5/hr differential. A Montana Veterinary Technician license is required. Unlicensed technicians may be considered if they will be able to pass the VTNE within 6 months. An unlicensed technician starts at $23/hr with an increase to $25/hr upon licensing.
