Job Description
VCA Apex Animal Hospital is hiring a full time Registered Veterinary Technician (or RVT eligible) to join the team at our AAHA-accredited practice! About Us We are an AAHA-accredited canine and feline practice with a caring and supportive team. We offer Primary Care, Surgery, Dentistry and more. Our hours are Mon
- Fri 7:30am
- 5pm, Saturday 8am
- 2pm, closed Sunday.

What You'll Do The Veterinary Technician role will allow you to take the skills you've learned as a new graduate or experience you've gained over the years in this profession and put them to great use in our hospital. One year of experience in veterinary medicine and proficiency in the skills listed below are ideal, but happy to train the right candidate and Veterinary Technology Students encouraged to apply . Technical skills that you will be utilizing include: Physical examinations and patient assessment Anesthesia monitoring Surgical preparation and assisting Dentistry Radiology Laboratory work Venipuncture Catheter placement Pharmacy Patient recovery Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, health and well-being programs that provide resources and training.Compensation:
$21.00- $22.
Schedule:
