What You'll Do As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you'll play an essential role in providing outstanding patient care while working alongside experienced veterinarians and a supportive team.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring anesthesia during surgical and dental procedures Assisting with soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures several days each week Performing laboratory diagnostics and sample collection Administering medications and treatments Providing exceptional nursing care to hospitalized patients Educating clients on preventive care, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintaining accurate medical records Supporting a positive, collaborative hospital culture
What We're Looking For Required:
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license (preferred, but we're open to discussing candidates working toward credentialing) Passion for providing exceptional patient care Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude and willingness to support your teammates
Ideal Candidate:
2+ years of veterinary technician experience Experience monitoring anesthesia independently Comfortable assisting with surgery and dentistry Interest in mentoring teammates and growing into future leadership opportunities Someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit, collaborative team Schedule Four 10-hour shifts No weekends Great work-life balance so you can enjoy everything Asheville has to offer.
