Our advanced diagnostic services include ultrasonography and echocardiography, electroencephalography, endoscopy, rapid-scan CT imaging, high field MRI, and cardio cath lab, in addition to many others. CARE is seeking talented veterinary technicians to join our Oncology team! If you enjoy developing relationships with your patients and clients, the Oncology Department is the place for you! Prior experience in Oncology is not necessary, but experience as a veterinary technician is required. Oncology Technicians are responsible for providing exceptional nursing care and empathetic client service to ensure our Oncology clients and patients feel supported through their Oncologic journey. High School degree or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience is required RVT preferred, but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted Emotionally intelligent Critical thinking skills The ability to safely restrain patients for extended periods of time Proficiency with technology, including electronic medical record systems, automated lab analyzers, digital radiology, etc.

Shift:

7:00am to 5:00pm (4) Weekdays (3 day weekend!). Rotating on-call is required one weekend per month.

Oncology Veterinary Technician Responsibilities include:
