The Opportunity & Schedule Status:
Full-time Hours:
Mon/Wed/Fri (8:00 AM
  • 5:30 PM) | Tue (8:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM) | Thu (8:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM)
Flexibility:
Requires alternating weekends and some holiday coverage.
What You Will Do Patient Care:
Perform initial evaluations, monitor hospitalized pets, and administer doctor-directed treatments.
Surgical Support:
Prep surgical suites, induce and maintain anesthesia, use digital radiology, and monitor post-op recovery.
Lab & Pharmacy:
Collect and prepare samples (urine, fecal, ear cytology), run lab tests, and accurately dispense medications.
Client Connection:
Safely restrain patients during exams, educate owners, and communicate recovery updates.
What We Are Looking For Credentials:
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or a recent grad awaiting certification. (
Note:
Candidates with 1+ years of proven experience will be considered for a Veterinary Assistant role).
Core Skills:
Strong foundation in vaccine protocols, venipuncture, heartworm/flea prevention, and animal husbandry.
Attributes:
Dependable work ethic, strong judgment, great communication, and a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Physical:
