Durham, NC Schedule:
Full Time (10-hour shifts, rotating weekends) or Part Time (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon) | Open 7 days/week
Pay Range:
$24.00-$28.00 dependent on experience Park Veterinary Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and urgent care center serving Durham, NC. With a busy, high-energy practice supported by eight dedicated doctors, we deliver exceptional veterinary care while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Procedure support:
pre-op checks, induction assistance, primary anesthesia monitoring, recovery oversight.
Clinical operations:
room tech duties, triage support, treatments, clear charting, and inventory/restock.
Client experience:
translate medical jargon into friendly guidance and education. Set expectations and follow-up appropriately. Safely handle and restrain patients with confidence and compassion Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans and care instructions Support workflow efficiency and contribute to a positive, team-first culture Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
What We're Looking For:
Licensed RVT in North Carolina with 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience You are available and willing to work rotating weekend shifts. Confident with anesthesia monitoring and handling patients of all sizes and temperaments Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with rotating weekends Strong communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative setting Lifelong learner excited to expand skills and stay current with veterinary best practices
