In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians in the care and treatment of animals. Your expertise in veterinary practices and animal care will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. Duties As a Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities will include: Assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed Performing laboratory tests and analyzing results Utilizing aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment Restraining animals safely during examinations and procedures Providing pet grooming services as needed Educating pet owners on proper animal husbandry and care practices Monitoring animal vital signs and behavior post-treatment Maintaining accurate medical records for each patient Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications: Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or similar role Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices is preferred Proficiency in animal restraint techniques and catheterization Experience in laboratory work related to veterinary medicine Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members A compassionate attitude towards animals and their care Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners by providing exceptional veterinary care.
