Completely Cat Clinic in Omaha, NE is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our busy 4-DVM practice. We are located at 10930 Q St., Omaha, NE . Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, engaged, detail-oriented, and passionate about feline medicine and patient care. We are a team of highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals dedicated exclusively to feline patients. Our approach to patient care and handling begins the moment we answer the phone, and every member of our team is trained to provide an exceptional experience for both our patients and their families. We are seeking a technician who values teamwork, excellent communication, attention to detail, and exceptional patient and client care in a fast-paced environment. ⭐ Schedule 4-day work week 7:15 AM-5:00 PM 1-2 Saturdays per month Responsibilities Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients by phone, email and text. Assist with wellness, sick, and injured patient appointments. Collect blood samples and perform in-house laboratory testing. Support veterinarians with the diagnostic and treatment needs of hospitalized and surgical patients. Place IV catheters and administer medications via oral, IV, SQ, and IM routes. Intubate patients and monitor anesthetic parameters and patients throughout recovery. Assist with surgical procedures. Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs. Perform routine urinalysis, fecal examinations, blood count differentials, and ear cytology. Provide high-quality nursing care while maintaining accurate and detailed medical records. Qualifications 2+ years of direct patient care experience preferred. Must be a credentialed veterinary technician with a Nebraska license in good standing. Must possess the medical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide routine and emergency nursing care under the direction of a veterinarian. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Detail-oriented and able to comply with all applicable state and federal regulations. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift 20-30 lbs.
