Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians with animal examinations and procedures
  • Prepare and restrain animals for examinations and treatments
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by veterinarians
  • Clean and maintain examination rooms and equipment
  • Monitor the health and behavior of animals in the clinic
  • Learn new skills to advance career
  • Assist with anesthesia monitoring
  • Assist with general surgery and dentistry
Experience:
  • Knowledge of animal care and handling techniques
  • Familiarity with common veterinary medications and procedures
  • Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Summary We are a privately owned non corporate family practice.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality care to animals while supporting veterinarians in clinical settings. Your core skills in animal handling, veterinary terminology, and medication administration will be essential in performing tasks such as anesthesia monitoring and patient care. Additionally, your premium skills in veterinary critical care and laboratory experience will enhance our team's ability to deliver comprehensive services. With effective communication and a passion for pet care, you will contribute to the well-being of our animal patients and ensure a positive experience for their owners.
