As a full-service hospital, we offer wellness and sick visits, surgery and dentistry, digital radiography, and in-house laboratory and pharmacy services. We value the human-animal bond and treat every client and patient like family. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative and supportive team. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care. A minimum of 3+ years of veterinary technician experience is required. Responsibilities Assist with wellness, sick, and emergency visits; perform accurate triage and vital sign assessment Educate clients on patient care, treatments, and preventive medicine Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement Prepare patients and equipment for surgery; assist with procedures and anesthesia monitoring Conduct dental prophylaxis Operate Idexx in-house laboratory equipment and follow established protocols Administer vaccines in accordance with current guidelines Manage pharmacology, including heartworm and flea/tick prevention medications Perform and assist with digital radiography Utilize proper animal restraint techniques Maintain accurate medical records and ensure a clean, organized work environment Provide friendly, professional client service and answer medical questions Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to remain efficient and calm under pressure Professional, dependable, and punctual Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with Avimark preferred Schedule Full-time or Part-time 8-hour shifts Day and evening shifts available Monday through Friday No weekends Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off, sick days, and holiday pay Uniform allowance Employee discount Flexible scheduling Location Requirements In-person position Must be able to commute to Holmdel, NJ 07733 Relocation required prior to start date if not local
