Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Graduate Veterinary Technician or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our dynamic veterinary team. Duties Assist veterinarians with clinical procedures including animal restraint, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical assistance Perform laboratory work such as blood draws, phlebotomy, diagnostic testing, and sample processing Manage animal husbandry tasks including feeding, grooming, and maintaining cleanliness of kennels and treatment areas Support dental procedures by understanding dental terminology and assisting with pet dental cleanings and examinations Operate medical equipment including radiology machines, X-ray units, and anesthesia delivery systems Handle pet care responsibilities such as medication administration, IV insertion, vascular access, and catheterization Maintain accurate veterinary records using specialized software and document all procedures thoroughly Requirements Recent graduation from an accredited veterinary technician program or current certification as a CVT or equivalent Prior kennel experience and animal handling skills with dogs, cats, and other small animals Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and critical care practices Experience with anesthesiology techniques including general anesthesia monitoring and sedation protocols Familiarity with laboratory procedures such as phlebotomy, diagnostic radiology, and radiology diagnostics Ability to perform emergency medicine tasks confidently in high-pressure situations Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Willingness to learn new skills in veterinary surgical assistance, medical equipment operation, pet grooming, and aseptic techniques Join us to make a difference in the lives of animals while advancing your career in veterinary medicine!
