Job Description
Ridgeview Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a few experienced veterinary technicians or nurse to our growing practice. Ridgeview Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, multi doctor, small animal practice located in the beautiful mountain town of Los Alamos, New Mexico. We strive to practice the best, most current medicine with a commitment to excellent customer service. Our hospital is well-equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, on-site laboratories, gas anesthesia, advanced monitoring equipment, cautery, cold laser therapy, and more. Ideal candidates for the veterinary technician position would be graduates of an accredited veterinary technology program or have prior work experience as a veterinary nurse. However, we are willing to train a motivated candidate. The candidate should be comfortable assisting with appointments, drawing blood, placing catheters, performing drug calculations, monitoring anesthesia, taking radiographs, performing basic lab tasks, client communication, and more.
