About the role We're looking for a New York Licensed Veterinary Technician who enjoys hands-on medicine and strong teamwork. You'll partner with veterinarians and assistants across scheduled and same-day visits. The day may include outpatient nursing, diagnostics, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and recovery. Your observations and communication matter to every part of that work. What you'll do Provide nursing care and monitor patients in outpatient, procedural, and recovery settings. Perform authorized technical duties within your license and training, including sample collection, laboratory testing, imaging support, medication administration, and treatment delivery under veterinarian direction. Prepare, monitor, and recover anesthetized patients; support surgical and dental procedures and keep complete anesthetic records. Recognize changes in patient status and communicate concerns promptly to the veterinarian. Explain approved treatment plans, estimates, home care, and follow-up in language clients can understand. Document care and handoffs accurately in Digitail, and help assistants develop safe patient care habits. What we're looking for An active New York State veterinary technician license in good standing, or eligibility to obtain one before starting. Spanish speaking is preferred, not required. Confident patient handling, clinical judgment, and experience with anesthesia monitoring and nursing care. Clear communication, dependable teamwork, and attention to detail. Comfort moving between planned appointments and urgent patient needs. Position details

Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Pay:

$29/hour | Full time, eligible for overtime
