A dedicated surgical suite supports soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures, while a comprehensive dental suite and modern anesthesia monitoring help our veterinary team deliver confident, high-quality care.

Job DescriptionJob duties include, but are not limited to:


Partner with doctors during wellness, sick-patient, urgent, surgical, and dental casesTriage incoming patients and provide attentive nursing care for stable and hospitalized petsCollect and process blood, urine, cytology, and other laboratory samplesObtain digital full-body and dental radiographs and assist with ultrasound and ECG workflowsPlace IV catheters, administer medications and treatments, and maintain accurate recordsPrepare surgical patients, assist during procedures, monitor anesthesia, and support recoveryUse compassionate handling and low-stress techniques with every patientExplain treatment plans, preventive care, medications, and discharge instructions clearly to pet parents

QualificationsWe're Looking For:

An experienced veterinary technician with at least 1 year of experience in a clinical settingA current LVT, CVT, or RVT or a NY State credential-eligible vet techWeekend shift availability is required for this positionA calm, compassionate teammate who communicates openly and respectfullyA self-starter who arrives prepared, notices what needs doing, and follows throughConfidence with low-stress restraint, venipuncture, sample processing, and patient monitoringExperience with radiology, dental imaging, anesthesia, surgery, and hospitalized patient careComfort in a busy general practice where priorities can change quicklyA relationship-builder who enjoys educating clients and earning trustSomeone who values coaching and future leadership opportunitiesThe ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and unwavering commitment to animal welfare in a dynamic veterinary setting.

Pay Range:

$26 - $32/hr depending on experience and licensure status
