Veterinary Technician

We are looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and experience in animal care. The Veterinary Tech will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, monitoring anesthesia, administering medications, and assisting with the daily operations of the veterinary clinic. Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for surgery, venipuncture, catheter placement, and diagnostic testing Induce, maintain, and monitor anesthesia Track and record vital signs (heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature) Monitor patients during recovery from anesthesia Provide pain management and administer medications as prescribed Perform wound care and bandage changes Administer pre-anesthetic medications as directed by the veterinarian Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and prepared Set up and maintain a sterile surgical suite Ideal candidate is licensed or licensed eligible. Part time, needed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednsdays. Hours and Pay flexible Practice also sees wellness and sick appointments but ideally candidate would focus on surgical patients. High volume low cost surgical practice. Mainly spay/neuter + dentals.
