Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to animal health and welfare, possess excellent technical skills, and have a strong ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with avian, exotic, and reptile patients, in addition to traditional companion animals. Here is What Your day
May Consist of:
Assist veterinarians in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of animals. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. Perform diagnostic blood, urine and fecal testing. Intravenous catheter placement. Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures. Perform diagnostics using radiographs and CT scans. Provide nursing care and post-operative care for animals. Educate and counsel pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health care. Here is What You Will Bring to the
Position:
Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician in a clinical setting. Strong technical skills, including laboratory work, radiology, and anesthesia monitoring. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to animal welfare.
