Position Overview Primary job functions include surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, dental scaling and polishing along with digital dental x-rays, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and preparing lab specimens Assisting veterinarians with exam rooms and animal restraints Maintaining patient medical records Qualifications of a Licensed Veterinary Technician Be Licensed by the state of NY Ability to work 5 days a week with one night shift and a rotating Saturday Experience with catheters, blood draws, anesthesia, and surgery Demonstrated passion for patient care and client service Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Team player with the ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives What's In It for You Competitive Hourly Wages Eligibility for Profit Sharing Health and Dental Insurance- 50% covered!
