Job Description
The League for Animal Welfare is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Batavia. Founded in 1949, we shelter more than 2,000 homeless animals each year; and provide affordable public veterinary programs that assist another 6,000 pets and their families. If you care about helping animals, the League is the place for you! We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician ( MUST be licensed in the state of Ohio) to join our team! The RVT will assist in high-volume spay/neuter surgeries for shelter and public animals; assist with shelter animal medical exams and treatments; and work in our public vaccine clinic. Applicants should be comfortable in surgery, medical diagnostics and treatment, and in client-facing services. Our medical team is fun, collaborative, and passionate about helping animals and helping each other!
