Job description: Veterinary Technician - Cardiology Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital | Northeast Ohio Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital is Northeast Ohio's premier emergency and specialty veterinary hospital, serving our community from our Highland Heights and Copley locations. We provide the gold standard in veterinary care and pride ourselves on being a professional, fun, inclusive, and diverse team made up of leaders in emergency and specialty medicine. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technicians to join our Cardiology teams. Job Summary As a Veterinary Technician at MVH, you'll play a critical role in supporting veterinarians and providing high-quality care to our patients. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for animal welfare. Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with cases Perform technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, lab work, and anesthesia monitoring Ensure patient comfort, safety, and advocacy at all times Collaborate within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Requirements Current Veterinary Technician License in the State of Ohio (required) Strong interest or experience in emergency/critical care Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting Schedules Tuesday-Friday, 7a-5p or 7:30a-5:30p or 8a-6p Compensation Starting at $20.00 per hour , based on experience Shift differential available for 3rd shift and weekends Why Metropolitan?
