- Has an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology, and a current Veterinary Technician license
- Can handle stressful situations with calmness and efficiency
- Is well spoken, and approaches their job duties in a mature manner
- Enjoys being a contributing part of a team, and works well with team members of all levels as well as individually
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is patient and nurturing to pets, while staying empathetic to their owners
- Is detail oriented
- Believes that pets are an integral part of the family
