From coordinating schedules to learning a new skill with a teammate or Doctor, every one is ready, willing, and happy to work together. What does this role entail? Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs. Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity. Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Schedule and compensation:
Compensation:
$ 25-30 per hour, for each hour worked This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday. This position also requires rotating Saturdays and one Sunday per month. Full-time Benefits Package•: Bonus package: $2,000 based on active, good-standing veterinary technician credentials in the state of [state] CE allowance: $500-$1,000 based on tenure and credentials Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k with company match Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Personal pet discount Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state law Minimum qualifications and skill set: 5+ years of veterinary technician experience Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Ohio A good human who is kind and knows how to play well with pets and people Dedicated professional who takes pride in their work and seeks to provide a memorable client experience with each appointment Strong communicator with a desire to foster lasting relationships with clients, their pets, and other WWACC team members Willingness to continually learn, grow, and improve Proficiency in the following skills: Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery Surgical assistance and aseptic technique Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement Radiology positioning and safety protocols Medication administration and accurate drug calculations Client education and communication Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong critical thinking and attention to detail Effective teamwork and professional communication skills Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning •Out-of-state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply Interested in chatting more?
