We always work hard to make sure that people are working the schedule that makes them happy...happy employees=happy clients=happy clinic. Typical full time schedule is 8am-5:30pm (clinic closes at 5pm) for 4 weekdays. However, we can be flexible on that. Rarely we may need coverage on Saturdays from 8:30am-1:30pm but we usually have other dedicated staff members doing those (unless you prefer some Sats!) We are closed for all major holidays. Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
• Perform routine procedures such as administering vaccinations and medications
• Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical and dental procedures
• Conduct laboratory tests and analyze samples
• Performing X-rays
• Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment
• Maintain accurate medical records

Requirements:

• Team player! (every ad says this but we really mean it...our team is truly a family!)
• Veterinary techinician certification (licensure bonus but not required)
• Client communication skills (our clients rave about our staff and our personal touch!)
• Sense of responsibility and dedication
• Ability to laugh (life is short, lets make it fun!
