What You'll Do As an experienced RVT, you'll play an essential role in both patient care and the overall success of our veterinary team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing compassionate nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patients Performing venipuncture and placing IV catheters Collecting and processing laboratory samples Administering medications, injections, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian Preparing patients for surgical and dental procedures Inducing and monitoring anesthesia Monitoring patients throughout procedures and recovery Performing dental radiographs and assisting with dental procedures Taking diagnostic radiographs Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records Educating clients about medications, treatments, preventive care, and follow-up instructions Maintaining proper cleanliness, organization, and infection-control standards Recognizing changes in a patient's condition and communicating concerns promptly Working closely with veterinarians, assistants, receptionists, and fellow technicians to keep patient care running smoothly Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who is confident in their technical abilities but never loses sight of the reason we do this work: the animals and the people who love them.
