Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored for early childhood education settings. Experience working with children across various age groups, especially toddlers and preschoolers. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and childhood development principles. Proficiency in classroom management techniques that support positive behavior and student engagement. Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Ability to implement standardized testing when applicable to assess developmental progress. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certification. Experience teaching physical education or incorporating movement activities into daily routines is a plus. Prior classroom experience in private or preschool settings is highly desirable.
