Veterinary Technician

Wards Corner Animal Hospital is a locally owned, compassionate veterinary practice with a long history of serving pets and their families since 1980. We provide a broad range of services including preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dental care, house calls, and emergency support, with a focus on comfort, quality medicine, and excellent client communication. We are looking for dedicated team members who care deeply about animal health and client experience-and who want to grow with us in a friendly, supportive environment.

Technician Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics procedures, treatments, and minor surgeries Monitor anesthesia and recovery Perform lab work, radiography, and sample collection Administer medications and vaccines Maintain patient records and ensure a clean, and organized workspace

Qualifications:

Veterinary Technician certifications (RVT/LVT) Strong communication and animal handling skills Ability to work as part of a collaborative team Preferred but not required, experience in orthopedic and advanced surgical procedures.

Pay:

$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
